Description
Model M-650 mats have low-density polyethylene hinges and all aluminum rails. LDPE hinges are quiet and don?t crack or shrink like vinyl or thermoplastic rubber hinges. Aluminum rails maintain their integrity in all weather conditions.
Construction
Flexible low-density polyethyene hinge retained in a "captive" aluminum tread port, with drain holes to allow debris and moisture to flow through the mat and continuous bottom cushions to reduce noise. Fillers shall be serrated black vinyl for use when tread spacing cannot be maintain, or to fill irregular frame conditions.
Tread
100% nyon fiber fusion bonded to backing and mechanically secured to tread rails.

General note regarding sustainability and environmental impact:
While not a requirement for LEED, please note that cushions and hinges on all mats and grates are PVC-free. They are made from corn-based biopolymer blended with either recycled low-density or recycled high-density polyethylene.
